Supplemental intake of 400μg (400mcg) of folic acid is recommend for all women for at least one month prior to conception and continued at that level for the first 3 months of pregnancy to help reduce the risk of neural tube defects (NTD's). Folic Acid is a recommended prenatal supplement and is used in preconception and in pregnancy. New Active Folic contains the patented Quatrefolic® as a source of reduced folate, the nutritionally active form of folate required for optimum absorption.
Directions
Take one Active Folic capsule daily (or two if advised by your healthcare professional). Take with water.
